Kind of late but this works for me with latest AB version:
Name: Modem Connected
LED Name: rbg.green
Trigger: Network device activity (kernel netdev)
Device: wwan0
Trigger: Check one, two or all. (whatever you want it will flash on data if transmit/receive checked)

Re: Did something change with Verizon or Mofi4500 recently?
Been lots of chatter lately about verizon and visible going to crap with various issues. It does seem something has changed. Only thing I can suggest is try some different TTL settings and see if helps stop the hotspot bleed, 65,64,67 etc.

I'll admit when I'm stupid so will do another follow up. Came back and did search for Breed Recovery Console and sure enough a 1+ year old page on it here. So posting for anybody else who is gobsmacked when first seeing that recovery menu. https://wirelessjoint.com/viewtopic.php?t=779

Re: Putting MH4 pigtails on the Quectel EM20-G M.2 modem
They definitely take A LOT of patience. It sometimes takes me a good 15-20 minutes to get them on. Other times they go on very quickly. Kind of a luck of the draw getting them on but I do have a small magnifying glass which helps to at least get them lined up before applying pressure. Always afraid ...

Re: CBA850 with external router
So I couldn't leave things alone and had to get to the bottom of this. What is killing the internet connection in all the different firmware I tried is when Traffic Monitoring>Enable IP Traffic(per IP monitoring) is enabled. It seems the translation is broken if in IP passthrough mode the cba850, at ...

Re: CBA850 with external router
Well, the tomato setup started acting up, would intermittently lose internet and access to the 850 from the router. So, I broke down and flashed the newest Asus firmware for the RT-N66U and it seems stable since this morning so will see if it lasts. Can say it definitely appears any 3rd party ...

Re: CBA850 with external router
Success! For whatever reason simply could not get the RT-N66 to connect to the Cradlepoint with stock, Merlin or Goldenorb firmware. One last attempt with Tomato and it worked. Yippee! Didn't have to mess with anything just used the passthrough port on 850 to the WAN on the Asus and it connected no ...

Re: CBA850 with external router
But essentially whether you have the CP set to DHCP or IP Passthrough you should be able to plug it into the WAN port of your Asus and have it talk.
That's what I thought too but not so for me, Only thing I haven't done is a total reset on the 850 but not ready to go down that road right now ...

Re: CBA850 with external router
Well, I guess the only way is in access point mode unless someone knows a way to get the external router to work in normal DHCP mode with CBA850 DHCP disabled. Never could get passthrough to work. Followed 2 different guides.

CBA850 with external router
OK, so i'm having a big time brain fart going on here. Simply trying to connect an Asus RT-N66 to my Cradlepoint CBA850 and having a heck of a time getting them to talk. Have tried all different ways such as through LAN port with router assigned static address on asus wan of the 850, connected to ...

And don't forget to factor in cable loss. Long runs with cheap cable can negate antenna gain.

AT!SELRAT=06
would this be correct for LTE only bands?

Thanks BillA, those are some of the things I tried already. All leds work except the power. Not that big of a deal just have to know can't rely on it for indicating power is on. But WiFi works so it will indicate router is on when it connects. I've seen on other sites people have the same problem ...

I successfully loaded the WiFix version of GoldenOrb WE826 on my MoFi4500V2. You have to do it with the recovery flash procedure. So assuming any version of OpenWrt for WE826 should work. Only glitch I've found ...

So I have a mofi 4500 V2 router, 2 WirEng wide band antennas(dont worry i didnt pay for them), and using ULLM240 cable, 25ft. I will probably shorten.
Could be hurting yourself with the LM240, personally wouldn't use it for anything over 10 feet. I have a 25 ft run and using LMR400.
Also ...

Very interesting and timely since I just ordered one to try especially with all the AT&T changes happening.
Found out I should have coverage on their (T-Mobile) new 600MHz band which they are basically calling 5G for rural areas. Guess we'll see.
I'll plan to post back when I get it and have time ...

Re: Help with LTE modem build for RV
If using the Radome antennas I will need to place this within two feet of a microwave oven, from what I can tell microwaves operate near the 2.4Ghz wi-fi spectrum, so I don't think it will interfere much if at all with the 4G bands. Please correct me if I'm wrong or if there are other concerns ...

Did you follow the procedures in the link? It does take some patience but you should be able to access the boot flash screen by Ethernet if successful. Again, the constant ping helps to know when to release the reset button. It sounds like you are going past the time. The ping command in Windows ...

Re: Changed SSID & Password, Now no WIFI
I think it might be time to try flashing the router firmware in recovery mode: https://wirelessjoint.com/viewtopic.php?f=12&t=5
The constant ping mentioned in the comments really helps to know when the computer sees the router and to release the reset button.

Re: WE826 MC7455 Goldenorb drops internet on Scheduled Reboot
I had this issue as well.
WE826-T2 on GoldenOrb_2019-03-10 with mc7455 in QMI mode. When I enabled the Scheduled Reboot feature, I too was waking up with no WAN connection and was doing a hard power cycle to resolve.
Instead, try this if you desire a daily reboot:
First, disable the Scheduled ...
