The settings below will force Band 66, but I don't know if it will attach to the network if configured to only access Band 66: i.e. define entry 10 to be "B66Only" which is values "0,0,2", and then tells the modem to use entry 10, after which you reset the modem.

MC7511: crash with traffic from Microsoft Teams
Hey,
I have an MC7511 in QMI mode managed by a python script on Linux using libqmi. It is connected to AT&T via an IPv4 PDP session. This is the router.
A WIndows 10 machine connects to the router above via WiFi. A hard crash occurs on the MC7511 when I join a Microsoft Teams call at the Windows ...

In case this helps anyone in a similar situation...

Re: AT&T 100GB Hotspot Plan -- Modem?
The EM7565 has not yet attached with the AT&T SIM, so finally called Tech Support, and they checked whatever they could check on their end (confirmed the IMEI and "broadband" APN) and eventually had to open a trouble ticket for Level 2. I used the EM7565 with a TMO SIM all day today for work, but ...

Sorry -- was tired and didn't explain well.
The AT&T 100GB Hostspot plan allows a bring your own device. You have to go to the AT&T website to register the IMEI. The website does not complain about any of the IMEI's of the devices I tried.

AT&T 100GB Hotspot Plan -- Modem?
Today I signed up for the AT&T 100GB hostspot plan ($55/month). Can anyone suggest a good modem that will work?
I tried 4 Sierra Wireless devices with awful results : I know the APN should be "broadband":
* EM7565 : will not connect
* MC7511 : will not connect

Re: which router
I know this is an old post, but did you ever try the AT&T 100GB plan with an EM7565? I signed up today and cannot get the EM7565 to connect; neither an MC7511; neither an older MC7455. I configured the IMEI in the AT&T Prepaid website and tried with vairious APNs ("broadband" should be the correct ...

Re: Can't register on Verizon
I've run that Cradlepoint on VZ. If you can buy / borrow a cheap VZ hotspot, then get a sim for it, and then sim swap to the Cradlepoint. It will work just fine.

Re: Verizon Unlimited Plan & Sierra Wireless Devices
Hmmm, thanks for all your help!
Depending on what I read, it sounds like PagePlus is deprioritized. My current plan is never deprioritized, except during tourist season when VZ is excessively congested at times, affecting everyone. I work remotely, and rely 100% on 4G, so switching to an MVNO seems ...

Re: Verizon Unlimited Plan & Sierra Wireless Devices
Ya, but the problem is that once I switch off the current $185/month 30GB Shared Plan, then there's no going back since it is an obsolete plan.
It would be nice to have a monthly bill of around $120+taxes, but I need to continue using my Sierra Wireless devices (even if they are capped at 15GB each ...

Re: Verizon Unlimited Plan & Sierra Wireless Devices
Hmm, thanks for the reference to the other post, but there seem to be two separate issues?
Issue #1: data-only SIM on an Unlimited Plan as a Connected Device
It seems that this:
I had 3 Verizon lines on an unlimited plan (not business) and decided I no longer need the 3rd line. I tried using ...

Verizon Unlimited Plan & Sierra Wireless Devices
Hi,
I currently have 3 lines with Verizon on their old 30GB Shared Plan for around $185/month:
Main phone line (Motorola phone)
Line 2 and Line 3 used to be Jetpack devices, but those were replaced with Sierra Wireless MC7455 and EM7565 many years ago via a SIM swap. The VZ website knows that ...

FWIW, tools like the one below are indispensable for safely installing & removing MHF4 cables onto the modem antenna connectors:

Re: MC7455 / EM7565 vs. Quectel EP06 IMEI Change
It's possible now thanks to bkerler https://github.com/bkerler/SierraWirelessGen to unlock Engineer Mode and issue the enhanced commands meant for testing purposes. Do some more digging and I believe you will find the answer. Sierra has pretty good modems unless you are on Sprint then I advise you ...
