Re: T-Mobile SIM Going to Fail?
I just did a chat session with tmobile and told the rep someone is giving me an old Tmobile phone. It was no big deal for them to not have the IMEI. I should have my sim and new phone number in a couple of days.

Re: T-Mobile SIM Going to Fail?
Matt - I think that was the statement he gave to the tmobile rep to get them to send a sim card without having to tell them the IMEI number.

Re: Help with TMobile Setup
I also tried a Tmobile test drive hotspot and was unable to get it working in an EM7565. It acted like it got deregistered but resolved itself when putting the sim back in the hotspot.

Re: WG3526 and Sierra EM7565 on Cricket simply data.
I'm in a simular situation with a router running goldenorb and a EM7565 modem but I'm still looking for a service to use with this setup.
What hasn't worked for me is the Verizon sim from my phone or the sim from a Tmobile hotspot test drive.
I would really like to get a plan that is reasonably ...

Re: T-Mobile SIM Going to Fail?
I started by trying to use the sim from my Verizon phone in my EM7565 but that was a disaster that kept blocking my sim. I then did a test drive with the Tmobile hotspot and it would also not work in my EM7565. I am considering buying an old phone to register with T mobile to try but am not feeling ...

[SOLVED] EM7565 failed to connect (Verizon)
I have read about several Verizon users having a similar problem. I found a reply on the Sierra Wireless forums that the problem can be caused by running the generic firmware and the there "will be no IMS APN profile thus SIM OTA will not be triggered". The recommendation was to download the Verizon ...

[SOLVED] EM7565 failed to connect (Verizon)
I'm trying to get a new system running. It's a Sierra EM7565 card connecting via USB to a router running GoldenOrb. The system recognizes the modem but it fails to connect. If it makes a difference, I'm trying to connect to Verizon using the SIM from my phone and the system recognizes the SIM info ...
