Yeah, that's the same boat I'm in. That why I'm hoping someone will manage to do something with the info. I posted in another thread and the partition image files that exist.

The file did not have the needed components to be able to put together a recovery file, it needs to come from another working mr2100
If I get the needed files I will post a recovery file here to share with everyone for this one.

more info is needed for a proper answer such as, which part of the firmware, this devices firmware has 31 partitions some being mbn, some img, and some triple layered ubi, ( ubi over ubifs over mtd) but if you mean like a one click tool or something the answer is no, you have to dump then decompile ...

/Etc you have capitalized, so that likely wouldn't be a valid path.... Just calling that out if you're going to try and share with others. No comment on the rest of it.
