I am so new to this please be patient. I am trying to send AT Commands to my Quectel EC25-AF. There are two towers down in my area on AT&T and I would like to block out those bands. I would like to scan band 12/17/4. I purchased a booster for band 4 and I see no improvement. Any help would be GREAT!

This is an ebay item number 133245707513, tell me the truth. But I want to send at commands to ec25-af, I saw where you could restrict the scanning of specific bands. So I guess if I restrict all the bands that I do not want, then it should leave me with the only one I want. ? How to send those at commands...

THANKS

You don't restrict/lock out bands, instead you set a band or a list of bands you want the modem to use.
For example to lock the modem to a single band 66, you would send this command:
AT+QCFG="band",2e0,20000000000000000,0
For other bands, you would use a band calculator found in the tutorials section on this forum.

As far as signal boosters go, they are not as effective as some sellers lead you to believe, in most cases a booster will only boost a bunch of useless noise. You're better off picking up a high quality/gain Yagi or flat directional antenna from the thewirelesshaven.com store which comes with full support by the owner JimHelms.

You can send AT commands through the GodenOrb/WiFix or Huawei/PUTTY terminal, depending on your modem's connection method. https://wirelessjoint.com/search.php?keyword ... d+guide%22
