CLB100 TMobile

Does anyone have any experience with the CLB100 and TMobile? I'm completely new to the 4g modem/router experience.
Short history, moved out of the city, and current location is either satellite (which I already paid early termination and ditched them after the first month), DSL(which I'm about to switch to if I can't get this 4g modem deal to work consistently), or the EVDO Depot CLB100. I had the mofi 4500 with Sprint, but couldn't get hardly any signal with them. I've had slightly better success with the CLB100 on TMobile, but still fighting with signal issues. Hoping the yagis they send fix it, but that's another story.
My modem seems to cut out frequently, I've tried the Gobi as well as the QMI settings. Neither seems to be better than the other, but I really don't have any clue what's what.
I've noticed that periodically, the signal drops, and I completely lose the menu for the 4g settings. Only completely resetting the modem will bring it back, and sometimes I still have to reset it multiple times to get internet. Just trying to find out if there are any other tips or tricks with this system.
