LEDs on WE826 Not Working Right

I have a WE826 with a 7455 modem in it.

When I first got it the LEDs for power, status and internet worked. Now it seems I only have the red power, blue wifi and ethernet leds.

What I don't have is the LEDs for internet connected/activity

Is this a config in the software? I am currently using GoldenOrb_2019-03-06 software

For the LEDs config I have the following:

ledname green wifi
trigger netdev
device: wlan0

Any thoughts?

Thanks

The LED's are assigned by the firmware. I would try our new WiFiX firmware using the procedure outlined in THIS post.

Thanks Jim.

I just loaded the firmware this evening and no change. The only LEDs that light are the Power (red) and WiFi (blue) and what ever Ethernet channel I am plugged into.

I did however just figure it out.

If you go into the LED config under system and add:

name: wwan
LED name zbt-we826:green:wan
trigger netdev
device wwan0
trigger mode: check link, transmit and receive.

Once you do that the led lights up :D

Great detective work.

I will have the wwan0 LED configuration added to the next WiFiX firmware build.

Just did this tonight and it works. Always bugged me that light wasn't on it show internet is on. Specially at like my parents so they can just look to see if it is running or not.

Man, wish there way to dim the LED's on WE826 - VERY bright and be nice to tone them down in some cases.

This worked great on two new builid that I did with a WE826-T2 with MC7455 that had the new WiFiX firmware on them.
Went to go do this at my parents house they also have a WE826-T2 with MC7455 but not the new WiFiX firmware.
When I went to add this not all the options needed to select where available when adding it. Do I need to flash new new WiFiX firmware to be able to do this on theirs? Or is their something that I am missing how to add what is needed?

Another similar question is about the Mofi 4500. For some reason every time go to download a game on it will disconnect from the internet. If you power cycle it will pick up the internet again immediately. Go to download the game again and will drop the internet connection once again. This is a new issue was working great up until about 3 weeks ago. Only does this when downloading larger files. Normal streaming and web browsing it works fine.

Have noticed if I install the new WiFiX firmware on this and not use the Mofi Firmware this fixes the issue. But it bugs me now the led lights don't work. And the lights on it are in a different order and what not. Willing to learn what these led lights mean and how to configure them but don't know where to go to learn this stuff.

Have had the Mofi for 6 months and is under warranty trying to get them to refund or replace it. But not sure how that is going to work out. They don't seem excited about that option.

Simply remove the "Trigger Mode:"
