WE826-T2 Update error: The opkg update command failed with code 6

I can't for the life of me figure out how to download the software updates and keep getting an opkg update error Code 6. The time and date are synced. I have my router plugged into the blue WAN port and my computer directly connected to a yellow LAN one of the WE826. My computer can get online so there's internet coming through the 826 to my computer but the 826 itself can't download the packages? Probably something simple I don't know to look for in one of the settings that's wrong. I have the DNS server set to 1.1.1.1. on the 826 and on my computer because someone on another part of the internet said that worked for him. I'm still getting the Code 6 error and can't download the updates.
