192.168.255.1 is not responding

So tried from windows 10 (direct ethernet and via Switch ) also tried via Linux.

With

Code: Select all

arp - a 
I get the following output:

config.invisigig.com (192.168.255.1) at {mac address removed}  [ether] on eth0
So the Invisigig appears to be showing up. But it isn't responding to anything.

If I try to ping 192.168.255.1 I get

Code: Select all

Destination Net Unreachable
If I try to reach via a chromium incognito tab to https://192.168.255.1 it responds:

Code: Select all

This site can't be reached
https://192.168.255.1/ is unreachable.
ERR_ADDRESS_UNREACHABLE"
Need some guidance or instructions on what to try next to get the invisagig working. Thanks in advance.

The address is https://192.168.225.1

You put 255, instead of 225.

Happens a lot :)

Assuming that was just a typo, Does it do this without the SIM in the InvisaGig?

Well, glad I posted. It was in fact me typing 255 instead of 225. I had never thought about it before but those two numbers look a lot alike. I can't believe the trouble I went through trying different systems etc... All because of misreading a single number in the instructions. May others find this post and avoid my self-inflicted pain.

Not an uncommon mistake. :)

It's how I caught it quickly. Seen it a bunch.
