WG1608 force flash GoldenOrb over Openwrt

I just got a WG1608 from China that came with a custom OpenWrt firmware. I want to flash GoldenOrb and downloaded the official version here https://www.ofmodemsandmen.com/download.html . I get an error about the uploaded image does not contain a supported format. I'm guessing this is just because its a different version of openwrt. Do I just check the box that says force upgrade? Just want to make sure I'm not missing something here.
