NEXP1GO with RM520N-GL - ROOter Bottlenecking Speeds

I am having an issue with my NEXP1GO with a RM520N-GL internally mounted. The issue is that no matter how much bandwidth is available, I cannot get anything more than around 250 Mbps. I'm on T-Mobile Magenta Max phone plan. I have the same plan on my Galaxy S23+. On the S23+ I can pull 900-1100 Mbps off the tower I'm testing with. The tower has n25 20 Mhz, n41 100 Mhz and n41 40 Mhz. I know that the RM520N-GL can only aggregate 120 Mhz total 5G-NR bandwidth. On a tower that is normal pulling right around 1000 Mbps there is clearly an issue going on to only get 250 Mbps even with just 2x CA with n25 20 Mhz and n41 100 Mhz. I've heard that ROOter is the bottleneck and that it's something in the firmware causing the issue. I'm currently running GoldenOrb_2023-06-01 with kernel version 5.4.158.
What would be the possible causing of this? I'm connected via a cat6 ethernet that is showing 1 Gbps connection speed to the router. I've also tried other LAN ports on the router and other cat6 ethernet cables as well. Would there be an option where I'm able to keep my NEXP1GO (ZBT WG3526) with the RM520N-GL internally mounted and just run different firmware? I'd prefer to keep ROOter or use something else that has an easy modem configuration integrated within the firmware.
