Noob Questions 5G RM500Q-GL

Hi all.

Just finished compiling OpenWRT for my Raspberry Pi 4b and have a PiHat installed with a Quectel RM500Q-GL.

I can see the modem listed on my USB2 interface with DMESG, but think I need an activated SIM before I can use minicom to query and then setup in LUCI?

Any tips on where I can find the AT commands for this modem and which US carriers I could try out? I'm a part time RV'er...so looking for a monthly unlimited plan that I could pause and only use when I'm on the road.

I understand 5G may not be fully supported, so happy with 4G/LTE at this point.

Thanks for the help!
