Wireless Joint

Hey all,
I have a NEXS2GO router with a RM520N modem from The Wireless Haven. I am running this on a 5G phone plan from Verizon that has unthrottled unlimited data. I have tweaked the connection profile for the SIM, and everything seems to be working as I expect. Data usage is masked and not flagged as hotspot, etc.

However, I cannot seem to get the device to send or receive SMS messages, I'd like to take advantage of a few of the features with this. Is there some setting or AT command I need to run to get SMS working on this setup?

They know the stuff with openWRT / Rooter firmware (WiFiX firmware included)

I've never messed with Verizon SMS.

Can confirm this issue on Verizon with the same configuration. Send sms just fails with a timeout.

I haven't been able to figure this out. I've searched a bunch and tried quite a few things, but still cannot get it to send or receive text messages on VZW
