WiFix We826-T with EM7455B GoldenOrb_2020-03-07 (this is the hardware config of my spare modem)

So now I want to use my spare modem. I went to verify it still works and inserted my original Visible SIM from my main modem. It worked fine when I tested it in a few days ago. Put original sim back in main modem.

Today I received my second visible sim, activated on new ZTE A3 phone that it shipped with and then inserted it into my spare modem. Now it does not have an internet connection. The Modem, Network Status page under General Information shows Provider: “Connecting”.

Any suggested troubleshooting steps?

any ideas? any more info i can provide?

Did you receive the new Visible SIM? They use Verizons network directly now. This requires IMEI matching and the APN: vzwinternet

I have not had the chance to test Visibles new SIMs.

How do I match the IMEI? Doesn’t my WE826 have its own IMEI which is different than the ZTE A3 cell phone IMEI that shipped with the SIM from Visible?

It requires more than that, and I'm not sure what exactly. My franklin T9 connects just fine, but with the same IMEI my netgear m6 does not, no matter what. Only thing I can think of is 5G.

So does this mean I will be unable to configure this setup and have a functional system?

Should I just cancel the Visible plan? If so, what other SIM plans do you suggest for my hardware and what is the monthly cost?

Anyone have any recommendations to offer?
