I have a NEXQ6GO router currently running GoldenOrb_2021-09-10.
I'm trying to upgrade to the latest version from Wireless Haven, WiFiX-NEXQ6GO-GO2022-03-21-upgrade.
However, when I try and flash it, I get "The uploaded image file does not contain a supported format. Make sure that you choose the generic image format for your platform."
Anyone have any suggestions?

You'll have to use the firmware bootload or "Recovery" method.
The new image is a different linux kernel base, so the old firmware does not see it as compatible.
This is the exact same method:

I'm having the same issue, can someone post the guide/method for doing this? The Youtube video that was previously shared is showing unavailable now.
Is this a compatible update while running the em20?? When i bought the em20 i was not able to update the firmware because of the em20. WirelessHaven had to do it themselves. Would like to update my NEXQ6GO firmware, hoping i can use VPN, but not if its going to mess with the em20

The modem firmware and the router firmware are separate. Both can be independently updated. You can update the router with no effect to the modem, and with no issue due to any modems presence.
