AT!RMARESET resulted in LPM, no internet connection

OK, for reasons I won't go into now, I did a ''RMARESET'' on my EM 7455 and it apparently reset to OEM (Dell laptop) firmware. In another forum I saw a statement that said the modem can store up to 4 firmware versions. If that is the case and if I reset the ''generic'' firmware that was flashed on the modem prior to my having purchased it, I am now asking if the flashed version (generic) can be 'toggled' back to what the modem refers to as ''preferred'' firmware. Is there an AT! command that will accomplish this? I'm preparing to obtain a USB adapter and re flash the modem if necessary. But if the generic firmware is actually still in the modems storage, what couldn't it be reversed ? Admittedly I'm new to this world and very willing to suffer my mistakes and humble enough to ask for insight from others. AT commands that refer to ''generic'' return a message that it is 'not present' so I assumed the reset wiped it. If anyone has even the slightest bit of wisdom to offer I am thankful. Also when I search for ''generic' firmware I'm often referred to the Sierra Wireless firmware page which only seems to contain carrier specific versions, any insight as to where this ''generic'' firmware is to be obtained ? TIA
