EM9191 Poor Performance, High Jitter (800ms) - Anyone else having issues?

Hi all. A bit new to the forum. Bought kit from Wireless Haven.
I seem to be having absolutely abysmal performance. My Pepwave Max Transit 18 has consistent, reliable connection with the same sim card. Using same antenna configuration.
With my new Wg3526 + Em9191 on usb, I'm getting jitter up to 800ms. GoldenOrb_2022-03-24 ( OpenWrt 21.02-SNAPSHOT )
I've tried connecting the modem directly to laptop via USB to rule out router/wifi. Tried additional 12v power. Anyone experienced similar issues? Anything I can do to fix this?
