EP06-A firmware

Does anyone have the newer modem firmware (at least revision EP06ELAR03A08M4G/EP06ELAR04A01M4G) that supports the AT+QUSBCFG="SS" command, to turn off USB3, for the EP06-A modem? I have EP06ALAR02A07M4G currently.
It would be so nice if you could upload this to me since Quectel Support are such jerks to North American customers. I appreciate your help or feedback, thank you!

As far as I know, EP06ALAR02A07M4G is the latest version for the EP06-"A", though you could ask via the email provided by Gscheb, just don't ask for the EP06-"E" version unless that's the model you have.
You cannot flash the firmware from an EP06-"E" (EP06ELAR04A01M4G) which is the European/international version. The two variants have different firmware versions and just because the "A" firmware seems to be lower, it doesn't mean that it's older. Even if you could somehow force flash the EP06-"E" firmware onto an EP06-"A", it would most certainly disable the US bands, so it's useless.
Here's the correct format for the "SS" command:
Code: Select all
USB2 mode
AT+QUSBCFG="SS",0
USB3 mode
AT+QUSBCFG="SS",1
If the above commands don't work, you can try the "tape the pins" method as shown here:

How do you check the firmware version of the modem through openwrt. I just received mine less then a month ago and was told its up to date, If this is so and I can confirm I am running the version you guys need I can reach out to the guy that sold it to me and hopefully get you what you need.
Also if your just major risk takers a google search on the specific firmware version found this:

Mine does connect to visable no problems BTW but its in a wg3526 router

Ahh, ok. Looks like the EP06 doesnt have revisions in the fw version names. Cool.
That is the newest version I have seen.
