Does the $20 Postpaid ATT iPAD plan have text/minutes?

Or it's strictly LTE only with NO text/minutes?

Well, a bit of looking around seems to imply text/minutes are also included.

I am trying to consolidate the number of plans I have - otherwise would have got this. Hope this plan lasts for a while.

Honestly not sure at all. I can try to text from mine when i get a chance.

I think the answer is no but I can't tell for sure purely about the plan. I have this plan in an AT&T branded Samsung S5e tablet which I bought as an "open box" on eBay about a year ago.

It has no phone or text app so no way to make an outgoing call. I don't know what would happen if I put the SIM in a phone or a perhaps a more open / generic tablet. I think the AT&T firmware has some things locked.

If I call the number I get "The person you're trying to reach is not accepting calls at this time".
If I send a text to it, my phone seems to successfully send it but nothing happens on the tablet.

Of course there are always things like Skype if you want to make a phone call or send a text. I use Skype on my Visible phone to make international calls (which Visible doesn't do) and it pretty works and sounds like a normal phone call so I'm sure I could do the same on the tablet if I wanted to. All you ever really need these days is an internet connection.
