I'm looking to create a mobile LTE solution for my RV. Mobile as in moving campsite to campsite, not driving down the road. I'm looking at a MikroTik LHG-LTE6 antenna/modem/router combination but it doesn't support all the bands that T-Mobile is using. I'm wondering if the MikroTik LHG-R (same antenna with router but no modem) can be used with a Sierra Wireless MC7455 modem which is certified to work with T-Mobile. The Google was no help. Any thoughts or suggestions are welcome.

Mikrotik and Sierra don't seem to get along well. Quectel has higher support. I'm no tik expert though. Hearsay knowledge.

I put a 7455 in one and couldn't get it to work. I was able to get it to work with a EM12. I am running OS7. The EC25AF worked as well, but the band locking menu wouldn't populate and have not spent much time on it since given that it is a CAT4 modem.
The EM12 seems to be the common go to on other sites and in the FB group.

It will work with the latest beta of RouterOS. I have also built OpenWrt 21.02.0-rc3 and modem manager and am running that on my LHGR.

What method did you use to install openwrt on the MikroTik LHG-R?
