Forgive the ignorance, but is an unlimited cell plan (with ttl changes) the only way to use large data amounts (200GB average)? If using a data only plan (also with ttl changes), Will it bypass data usage or continue to count against available amount until it gets throttled? I just flashed a new Spitz x750v2 with rooter firmware, so I'm ready to get started. Thanks!

Cell phone plans with unlimited data are what many use to try for larger data amounts in other devices than the stand alone data plans. Typically data only plans have a set amount and no amount of TTL tweaks changes that. There are a few unlimited data plans such as offered for tablets.
All of these plans have terms of service and it is well to keep them in mind even if you are attempting to thwart them. The phone companies can change how they enforce the rules and leave you holding the bag.

The better question to start with is what cell service works best in your spot(s), and go from there trying to figure out the plans that work best for your situation.
