WE826-T2/MC7455 with Calyx Connection problems

Figured I would start a new topic for this issue.
Little background: I am currently using the Linkzone 2 with my Calyx membership. Did some research and found that people were using the WE826 with the MC7455. I purchased a setup used from eBay.
Right away I changed the APN to r.ispsn, and then inserted the SIM with the adapter. I am now having trouble getting a network signal from this setup. The SIM Card however reads the phone number, ICCID, etc.
Could this be a firmware issue potentially?
Modem debugger is showing the following:
Thu May 13 16:59:55 2021 : /dev/ttyUSB1 AT+CPMS="SM"
+CPMS: 0,0,0,0,0,0
OK
Any advice is much appreciated.

Figured out what was going on.
I checked the firmware with "AT!IMAGE?", and realized that the modem was still flashed with Verizon firmware. Switched the firmware to generic and BOOM, started getting service.
I was using the Linkzone 2 receiving about 5-9 mpbs up and down.
Now I am getting 15-25 mpbs down and 12-15 up with the standard antennas.
I also noticed a significant speed drop when using the WiFi built-in the WE8326. Connecting my WE8326 to a Nighthawk gave me the speeds listed above.
Will be ordering an exterior antenna soon. If anyone has any recommendations, feel free to drop them below.
Thanks

Welcome to the sickness. }:)
You have started on the path that got me started. Sprint hotspot via Calyx, SIM in a router.
The WE829 wifi is garbage. You're way better off getting a dedicated wifi access point and wiring it to one of the ethernet ports.
You can upgrade that router to its max with something like the Sierra EM7565:
https://thewirelesshaven.com/shop/modems/sierra-w ... m-2-modem/
Needs an adapter and pigtails to work though:
https://thewirelesshaven.com/shop/pcie-m-2/mini-p ... card-slot/
2x
https://thewirelesshaven.com/shop/cables/pigtail- ... ail-cable/
The firmware works in generic because Sprint firmware has a SIM to device IMEI check built in, instead of other networks that do this on the network end. So using Generic firmware allows access to the network without this check.
Antennas?
If you have direct line of sight: 2 of these:
https://thewirelesshaven.com/shop/antennas/4g-lte ... l-antenna/
Trees and whatnot blocking? : 1 of these:

Keep the antenna cabling at the highest quality you can afford, and the shortest length. The Wireless Haven can get you whatever you need for cabling.
