Question about the ZTE Home Wireless WiFi 4G LTE

Hi everyone, I'm thinking about getting this modem for my rural location. I have looked high and low and can't find out what the external antenna connections are for. Are they for improving the WIFI on the device, or are they to improve the 4G/LTE cell connection?

I'm hoping it's to improve the 4G/LTE connection. If so, can you tell me what has been a great antenna, and should there be two of them or is one adequate?

Thanks.

Which device is it specifically? Do you have a model number?

If it has external antenna connectors that are not marked for Wifi, they are usually for the cellular. Sometimes if there are two, and the device is a new style model, they will disable the 4 internal cellular antennas and only rely on what is connected to one or both antenna ports. They are sometimes labeled as "test" ports. Since the cellular antennas cannot be connected in parallel, as it would cause issues without the proper equipment, including damage, it disables the internal antennas automatically.
