I've read over Jim Helms guide to band locking but I'm just not understanding. I'm trying to lock band 2 and band 13. According to the guide

at!band=10,"B2",0,0000000000000002
at!band=11,"B4",0,0000000000000008
at!band=12,"B5",0,0000000000000010
at!band=13,"B13",0,0000000000001000
at!band=0E,"VZW (All)",0,000000000000101A

So in my understanding

at!band=10,"B2",0,0000000000000002
at!band=13,"B13",0,0000000000001000
at!band=0E,"VZW (2,13)",0,0000000000001002

Would lock those bands together. Its just returning "error". I've put in the

at!entercnd="A710"

Command to make sure I have privilege. I've even tried just straight copy/pasting the original commands and it still just returns "error". Am I missing something?

Check out the spreadsheet @ https://wirelessjoint.com/viewtopic.php?f=16 ... heet#p2034

You would enter:

1) at!entercnd="A710"
2) AT!BAND=0F,"ATT2,13",0,1002
3) AT!BAND=0F
4) AT!RESET

Note: I am using 0F. That is normally an open slot, you may have to use something else. Issuing AT!BAND=? will show you what slots are in use.

My router sometimes hangs up after a reset, so I also power cycle it about 15 sec after issuing reset command.

I still don't quite understand. But it seems to be working. Thanks!

Be very careful issuing commands if you do not understand what they do / effect. I have wrecked a couple of modems myself and it can be a pain to recover.

Best thing is to use the spreadsheet and only enter provided commands.

Glad it got you going :)

Below are bands that the modem supports for carrier aggregation. Keyword is "what modem supports". Just because modem supports does not mean carrier does:
