I got my mofi4500 all set up with at&t and am now looking to set up a mesh; the wifi on the mofi does ok, but does not reach throughout our home, approximately 2500 sq ft. Any recommendations? Anything I should watch out for?
Thanks!

Re: Mesh recommendations
Thanks toddw! I did see those. As a newbie, why would I want a triband unit? (just trying to get educated!)
One thing I would like it the ability to add extenders in case of dead spots. Also would like to have ethernet ports on the back for things like my tv.

I've been using the ubiquiti wifi dedicted acess points, like the Ubiquiti Nano AC AP Lite I think its called. $99 poe powered, single packs come with the injector. The HD model is said to be even more powerful.

Re: Mesh recommendations
I run a full ubiquity setup so I can cover outdoor too. It's best with a cloud key to really manage it when remote. But if you have a computer that is always on you can do it that way. I set up an HD for a colleague and it worked very well.

Re: Mesh recommendations
Asus has a nice AirMesh system, it's pretty much plug-n-play.

You could use the MoFi-4500 in bypass mode to supply internet to the mesh system, or you could flash some Asus routers with GoldenOrb, and all you need is a modem in an external usb enclosure attached to it.
You can check these lists for currently supported Asus or other models:

I've been really happy with Google Wifi. I use 3 units to cover my 2500 sq ft, two story house, and I added a 4th unit to improve coverage in my home office and allow me to hook up a NAS via ethernet. I've got it connected to a generic hotspot router and external antenna.
