WE826-GO Factory Reset

Hi everyone. I'm currently having issues resetting my WE826-GO to factory settings. I feel like I've tried the reset button but maybe I wasn't doing it correctly. If I hold the reset button, unplug the device and plug it back in (still holding the reset button) and wait for a few seconds before releasing the reset button, the WIFI light just blinks on and off repeatedly and the WiFi never comes on, not until I unplug the modem and plug it back in. After doing this it still isn't reset. I believe I know the login password but it isn't working, which is why I'm trying to reset the device. Any advice is welcome, thanks in advance.

Gotta hold it for about 10-15 seconds after applying power. Basically when the second light lights up.

I have given this a few tries and haven't had any luck unfortunately. I waited for the second light (USB symbol) to light up and then held down the reset button for 10-15 seconds. After doing that the Wifi light (third light) won't come on until I pull the power plug and turn it back on. Unfortunately after that it still isn't reset. I do appreciate you taking the time to help me.

Push and hold the reset button before you plug the power on. Then continue holding the reset button until the USB light lights up, then release it. It should be about 10-15 seconds. Sometimes timing is weird.

It then should be in firmware recovery mode.

You must have your pc eth ip address set manually to something like 192.168.1.100 sub 255.255.255.0, gateway 192.168.1.1

enter http://192.168.1.1 in the adress bar and it should bring up the recovery screen, in Chinese. Make sure your browser cache is cleared.
