Have to continually reboot to connect to wireless devices

It seems that I have to periodically the wireless devices loose connection to the internet and I have to reboot the router. Once rebooted everything is good. Not sure where the problem is. I think the devices are connected to the router but not the internet. No issue with wired devices.
Is there lease time that would work better? I tried the standard 24hrs and infinite. Does not seem to matter.
Is it the router or the modem?
I am using we826 router with sierra mc7455 modem connected to AT&T using 2 yagi antennas.

Thanks
Greg

Greg,
You'll need to do some basic troubleshooting when this happens. I'd try a few things.

1. Can you resolve anything via DNS when this happens?

2. Can you ping the router when this happens?

3. Can you ping other wireless devices on the network from other clients when this happens?

Let me know if you need tidbits on how to actually do this.

I'll try some more when it happens again, but last time I was able to ping the router from the device that could not see the internet. The wired devices could see the internet. Rebooted and all was well.
What should I do besides pinging the router form the wireless device that can't see he internet?

Try lowering the transmit power to 15-20dBm (Network -> Wireless -> Edit -> Transmit Power) I had the same issue and so far this has worked for me. If you do some googling you'll see there are plenty of other people with similar issues using the MT7620 on OpenWrt. Some threads with tips here:

Thanks I'll try that next.
This morning my wireless devices could not see the internet (I tried Roku and 2 cell phones). I could ping the devices from wired computer but could not ping a wireless device from a wireless device. Once rebooted all is well.

The power is on Auto I'll set it to 20dB now.

I'll ost if it works or not.

Please post your long term experiences with changing this setting, and if it helps or not. It will be very helpful to others here that experience similar issues.

Thanks.

Well one day and same problem! No access for wireless devices.
Is there any fix for this router?
What if I turned off wireless and used an access point?

Frustrated! I can't keep rebooting every few days.

That is one solution. Buy a dedicated AP, and turn off wireless on the device.
