So I have a MiFi 8000 (ts-9 connectors) and I'm a PC gamer and my ping is really high and my speeds are about 6mbs down 3 up. So I was wondering if anyone knows what the best antenna would be, plus any other ideas to boost my speed and ping. I have the plan through sprint. (now transferred to T-Mobile) Any Ideas/tweaks would be a god send.

I've been roaming on band 2 for the last few days and my download has increased a lot but my ping is just trash I've tried VPNs and changing my dns as well. Will a router do me any good why do people connect their hotspot to routers whats the gain?

Typically stronger signal equals better ping. Do you know what your signal strength is?

Your ping has so many variables behind it. It might be the device. Your location, your tower, the number of hops from you to the servers. My best on speedtest.net is usually around 18-15ms, but in game its always higher, usually between 60-100ms
If you add antennas to the mifi8000 you will kill the 4x4 mimo internal antennas and it will only use the external antennas. That may not be bad, but you might actually go backwards. What signal levels do you get now?

Here is the guide chart for signal.

Here is the guide chart for signal.
So my RSRP is -105 dBm my SNR is 15 dB currently on band 2 but the RSRP jumps around same for SNR. Then it said band 0 a little bit ago.
