I was getting an EM7455 ready by following the tutorial and issued an "at!rmareset=1" and a at!reset. The modem then came up in Low power mode because of a PRI firmware mismatch. After much trial and error, it seems to be out of low power mode. Now the modem is out of low power mode but I'm still unable to see it on my PC when it's in my USB sled. I can see my other EM7455 modems but not this one. Does anyone have any ideas?

Re: EM7455 No carrier provisioning files, now what?
Seems like the modem is in the wrong composition mode.
Try this first:
Wait a minute, unplug/replug the sled adapter, then send these commands:
Wait a minute, unplug/replug the sled adapter, and see if the pc can recognize the modem.
If the above didn't work, reflash the modem with the latest firmware which usually fixes these issues.
If flashing didn't fix it, it's possible that it's a branded or engineering sample.
Try this first:
Code: Select all
AT!ENTERCND="A710"
AT!RMARESET=1
Code: Select all
AT!ENTERCND="A710"
AT!IMPREF="GENERIC"
AT!USBCOMP=1,1,109 <QMI mode or AT!USBCOMP=1,1,1009 for MBIM mode>
AT!RESET
