The past few days, the router has been losing internet connection. A simple reboot would fix it. This afternoon, it will not reconnect after the reboot. After reading the "Troubleshooting Connection Issues..." article, I believe it is a sim card issue.

I first moved the router to a new location, I removed and reinserted the SIM. I have checked the SIM for dirt/damage, cleaned, and reinserted. I have updated the firmware. I have checked the AT&T portal and it is showing active status.

Logging into the router, and going to Modem > Network Status, the Signal Information and Cell Information sections are blank.

Before I updated the firmware, when I would go to the AT-Command Terminal (this is all over my head, but I can follow instructions) and entered "at+cpin?", the result came back as SIM ERROR. After the firmware update, I get "+CPIN: READY", which is odd.

AT+CNUM returned my SIM number.

AT!GSTATUS? returns the following.

at!gstatus?
!GSTATUS:
Current Time: 599 Temperature: 35
Reset Counter: 1 Mode: ONLINE
System mode: WCDMA PS state: Not attached
WCDMA band: WCDMA 850

The only thing that I can see that is a little weird is the system time keep going wrong. When I first looked, it was over 24 hours slow. I have updated and saved changes a couple of times and it keeps getting messed up after every reboot.

It looks like your device has been blocked. What type of account do you have? Ipad Prepaid account? ATT reseller?

Thanks for the reply. It is an iPad prepaid account. When I log into my account, it doesn't mention anything about being blocked, but I guess that doesn't necessarily mean anything.

Correct. Serach here for ATT prepaid. The newest posts talk about the prepaid att plan being closed en masse. I lost mine without any messages or warning.

It's normal for the date/time to lag when there's no sim card in the router or the service has been blocked.
First set the correct time zone via System > System > Timezone to Etc/GMT+4 EST/5 CST/6 MST/7 PST, then Save&Apply.
Next, sync the time via System > System > Local Time > Sync With Browser, then Save&Apply.
Make sure you have a working sim in the router to keep the time updated accurately.

As far as ATT prepaid, most users have been booted for router usage. You may want to look for some alternatives here > https://wirelessjoint.com/viewtopic.php?p=5790#p5790
