Ok so i ordered a Quectlet cat 20 and the usb enclosure, i also ordered a Linksys EA8500 as i found agreat deal on one but now found out they have locked the firmware and you cannot (without soldering and tearing apart) upgrade to GO, so I have decided to go with either the Asus 68U which others on here have claimed works out of the box without even needing GO, and also supports GO, this would become my main router for everything, or the GL.iNet GL-AR750S and I would hook that up with GO and turn off the wifi, and use just the gigabit ports to goto my current Linksys EA7300 router? any suggestions?

Actually it looks like wifi doesnt work on the asus with goldenorb, so the would both just be used for the gigabit ports to my linksys, that being said i am gonna order both and try em both out.

Just remember the old adage "You get what you pay for!" ;)
It's not to say that it won't work, but I've read that you can only custom flash certain revisions of the C7 hardware (v2/3/4/5), so make sure it's not v1/6/7etc.

Ya i was able to flash no problem, and it worked well for a while, but now im having a heck of a time with the internet just stopping, in modem/network status it still shows connected, between 90-95% signal but just no internet until i reboot, this happens nearly 20x a day, is there something wrong with my modem, router or maybe both? this is driving my kids crazy as they are doing remote school now and it keeps kicking them out of classes? any suggestions? I was considering trying one of thos 40ish dollar routers with the 100mbps limitations and throwing in my modem just to see if it is that tplink or the enclosure im using thats the problem, only issue there is The Wireless Haven is still closed lol. Also i want to add that about 2 or 3 times a day the modem will say unknown for sim card and i will have to shut it all down and remove and reinsert the sim card.
