Mofi / T Mo - Slow DL, Fast UL

Long time lurker, first time poster. I recently set up Mofi Sim7 with a T Mo card. I have it hooked to a Proxicast MIMO antenna using Proxicast cables. The tower is about 4 miles away but I have LoS. I get good signal strength, usually around -80. I've locked onto bands 2, 4, 66, and 71. I have the same problem with all of them, my DL is usually around 3-4 Mbs while my UL usually stays around 20-21 Mbs. when I leave it on auto it barely registers anything on the speed test. To add to my confusion, when I take off the Proxicast antenna and pt the regular ones back on the strength goes down to about -100, but the DL speed stays about the same, while the UL comes down to about 6-7 Mbs. I think there's just something stupid that I'm missing. Any advice or information to lead me the right direction would be great. Thank You.

Signal Strength Sample -

Operational Mode: FDD LTE (LTE Band 2)
Registered On Network: YES
CSQ: 31
RSSI: -51dBm
ECIO: -13 (RSRQ) dB
RSRP - 78 (RSRP) dBm

What is your TTL set too?

Sorry took so long, I was helping someone move. I have tried both 64 and 65. Same results with both. Is there another to try? I'm still having the same original problem. Thank You!

Try switching the antennas cables which go to the modem's M1/D1 connectors (swap them around). Sometimes the polarization can make a big difference. Also, try TTL settings 64 and 65 and see which one gives better results.

You may want to lock one at a time and test speeds after reboots to see which are your best, as the SIM7 cannot CA anyway.

This is 100% from tower congestion and deprioritization I'll bet. Good upload with bad download speeds is the tell tale. Again try one band at a time. I'll bet you have faster DL speeds lat at night or early morning. I could totally be wrong, but I dont think I am.

Again, to beat the horse some more, its dead anyway, your experiencing this due to congestion on your tower, not from issues with signal or modem or router.

Your signals are fine, fantastic really.
