All else equal, which would I expect higher speeds from? 4 of the DP727L15 antennas or 2 of the 1DE2427X19 or 1 of the 1DP727X8 antennas? I am 2 miles from a Sprint tower with clear LOS.

1) Would the extra gain from the DP727L15 or 1DE2427X19 be worth it? 15 dBi and 19 dBi seems like a pretty substantial increase from 8 dBi.

2) Would I also benefit MORE from the DP727L15 antenna's wider bands, so that I may use B25 (in 4xCA B25+B41+B41+B41)? Or would it better to use either of the other antennas and use only B41 (in 4xCA B41+B41+B41+B41)? In other words, should INTERband CA with at least 1 B25 channel be faster than INTRAband CA with only B41 channels?

3) Should I expect the answer to these questions to be the same when 5G finishes rolling out and when CA can use much more than 4 channels (and the bands are instead n25 and n41)?

TLDR: At 2 miles and direct line of sight, get the 4x mimo panel.

What modem are you using?

What router?

What firmware on each?

How long will your antenna cables be?

Overall, just a straight comparison, at 2 miles from the tower with clear line of sight, you might not gain anything at all by going to anything over 8 dbi. It really depends on your situation. I ALWAYS recommend buying the highest dbi antenna you can afford, reason is, you'll never wish you got the lower one, unless your strapped for cash and felt like you wasted the extra money. But if your worried about a $100 then you prob shouldn't be dropping the cash in the first place, different conversation all together.

Lets go real world examples though. On my tower, Sprint, I max out the tower. I can get more, via my higher end gear, but the tower is managing my speeds. I can get roughly 100Mbps PER CA (Carrier Aggregation). I can get that with cat 12 and above modems. I can get that using only 2 13dbi antennas, or 4 8dbi antennas, or 2 8dbi antennas. My best speedtest speed was 388Mbps. I rarely get over 300Mbps though. But I typically drift between 265 and 300Mbps.

The modem and router and how much power (literally electricity) you give it is also important. Same antennas, cat 6 modem, max 100Mbps with 2xCA.

So Buy the best gosh danged thing you can afford, but you likely don't need more than 8 or so dbi and you may only need 2 antennas, but that is largely dependent on your modem, some only accept 2.

Side note, I prefer flat panel directionals, I'm biased, good scouting there.

Now if you dont care and want what you think is the simplest, strongest dopest thing you can get. The 4x4 mimo is hard to beat. It IS only 8dbi vs 2 13dbi panels, or 4 15 dbi, but you only have to aim ONE antenna. Also the 8dbi and the single panelswill let you use almost any band on the spectrum. The high dbi 2x mimo will only let you use like B41 and B66. I have both the narrow band 2x ( 2 of them) and the wide band 4x and the wide band 2x.
