At parents house have a we826 with a mc7455. Today they hooked up new outdoor antennas. Now when you go to plug in the power supply there is no power? LED lights or nothing comes on? Never seen this before.
Anyone seen this one before?

I would try a new power adapter, while not common they can sometimes go bad. Another possibility is that the firmware has gotten corrupted, so try to reflash it in bootloader mode, even with no power light on. I wonder when installing the outdoor antennas, somehow the cable has touched a power line frying the router... hope not.

Hello BILLA,
Tried another adapter and other electrical sockets in house.
Confused about bootloader mode? I can access the router when it has no power?

Yes, in fact I had a similar issue a while ago with no lights, yet I was able to access the bootloader mode.
It may or may not work in you case, depending if it's a firmware issue or a hardware failure, but it's worth a try.
Press and hold down the reset button, insert the power cable and keep holding the reset for about 5 seconds.
Let the reset button go, then try to connect to 192.168.1.1 over ethernet. You should see a page in Chinese with a large "FLASH" button in the middle. If that doesn't work then you may have to change the IP on your PC to 192.168.1.10, here's the full guide >

If bootloader mode doesn't work and you have a digital multi meter, you could also check the conductivity of the fuse, which is located right next to the power jack and large electrolytic capacitor, and looks like a flat component marked with the letters "JK" on top.

That is a strange one.
I am not sure what correlation the outdoor antennas could have in relation to the router's failure to power on.
Was it storming or lightning out when it happened?
If you have tried another power adapter and wall socket which does have power, my guess is the router is toast. Hopefully, what ever went on, did not get the modem as well.

This router was hooked to outdoor antennas working just fine no issues.
Then unhooked the router and everything while it is working.
Change the outside antennas and raise them run new cable in the house.
Hook up the router and bam no power.
It is like it died while sitting not connected to anything.
No storms lightening or anything like that.
Hopefully this explains better what happened.
This is why it is so odd to me.

Have you tried the bootloader mode, and check the internal fuse?
If still no go, then as Jim has suggested, it could have been some freak lightning or strong static electricity running back into the router frying it. Then again, ZBT routers are not the highest quality devices out there.

I have a dead/no power/no LED we826

Is this the internal fuse? And when you say conductivity do you mean continuity test to determine if the fuse connection is severed or not?
EDIT:
misfortune series of events-I had the board out of the case, and the antenna cables shorted on the casing and then everything came on, LEDs working and I even got to log into the router.
Then.....I heard a pop and smell of burning, but the router was still going and working. I unplugged it and inspected....I thought I just lost the sim card reader....but apparently I lost an IC...some type of controller/interface for the modem because it says the modem cannot be detected. Tried 2 different modules.
