MBR1400 WWAN stops working

Hi All,
I'm connecting my Cradlepoint MBR1400 to a mobile hotspot, that works great, but seems to disconnect every once in a while for no reason and sometimes has issues reconnecting. The DHCP lease time is 3600 seconds from the android phone and I can't change it. I'm not sure if this is the cause, but is there a way to have the MBR1400 monitor the internet and reset the WWAN connection? BTW, I have to do this because the Visible SIM won't work in the MBR1400. I've tried to the best of my knowledge, which is not much.
I've configured WAN verification, but don't think that resets the connection if failing, as it doesn't seem to work.
