WE826-T2 with EM7565 slows down after a few days

I'm running a WE826-T2 with EM7565 flashed with the latest WIFIX using bootloader mode. What is odd is I get around 40-50 down. I've noticed that after a few days it will slow down to ~20 and slower. After I do a reboot it's back to 40-50 down and the cycle begins again. Has anyone else seen this behavior and is there a fix or workaround for it besides rebooting the router?

Unfortunately nowadays in this stay-at-home situation, most networks are pretty overloaded, so speeds can fluctuate quite a bit day and night.
Not sure if this hang-fix firmware might help, but it can't hurt to give it a try.

Thanks Bill, does this only fix the wifi? I have the built in wifi turned off and just using it as a modem feeding my netgear router.

It's basically a WiFi hang-fix during heavy data throughput, caused by a modem reset event.
