MC7354/WE826 with Sprint does not work

I have a Sprint business account with Static IP service.

MC7354 with WE826 doesn't not run. Did everything as in Tutorials: installed GoldenOrb set APN (n.ispsn) and it did not work.

I also was trying to test it with Verizon SIM-card: it did not work as well. The modem recognised the SIM-card and shew me on screen phone number assigned to the SIM-card but no web-traffic. I tried two APN settings: "vzwinternet" and "internet" - both did not work.

I did not find anything in tutorials that I have to do something else. Any help or it will be just "a piece of brick" for $130?

What firmware are you using on the MC7354? And, what composition is the modem set at?

As I understood I have to upgrade firmware for Sprint - with this: 9999999_9902350_SWI9X15C_05.05.63.01_00_SPRINT_005.037_000.exe, but doing this I got problems:

1. The Huawei_Modem_Terminal.exe alerts me this: /Users/CEO/Desktop/Screen Shot 2018-09-28 at 15.06.18.png
2. When I execute firmware .exe file it alerts me this: /Users/CEO/Desktop/Screen Shot 2018-09-28 at 14.57.54.png

So, now I am unable to upgrade Sprint firmware. Any suggestions?

Okay, did you install the Sierra Wireless drivers/software for Windows. They are required to communicate with the modem.

Next, I am not sure you want to run Sprint firmware "unless" you have the IMEI provisioned through Sprint. That may be the case since you mention having a static IP through a sprint business account. I have not heard of anyone using a Sprint static IP so this will be interesting.

I have a Sprint business business account and do have a MC7455 IMEI provisioned though Sprint, as well as a Cradlepoint LP6 modem (which uses the MC7455). I run the generic firmware on the MC7455 (which seem to get better speeds) and the Sprint firmware on the LP6 modem (because cradlepoint automatically changes from generic to Sprint firmware). So it is possible to get a Sierra modem provisioned by Sprint which does have its advantages.

If you are running the 12-15-2017 version of GoldenOrb, it lacks the VID:PID for both the MC7354 and MC700. Also, the WiFiX firmware lacks the PID in one of its files. I did not realize it was missing until last night with I built a WE826 with both the MC7700 and MC7354.

They are easy to add to GoldenOrb but I would recommend waiting until tomorrow. Then, we should have new builds that recognizes these modems as well as few other minor changes.

We will update all WiFiX firmware download sections when the firmware is ready for download.

THIS WE826 firmware supports the Sierra Wireless MC7354 or MC7700.

I have Windows 10 x64 in one computer, I have used successfully stlink clones, and the stlink in a discovery F7.

I have a nucleo F401 or 411, I will test it later and let you know. Could be just an issue with a certain version of the drivers?
