Was trying to see if there was a way to limit speeds delivered to a certain port or IP address. For some reason when my TV is streaming I get horrible lag in games on another port. Would like to see if any sort of bandwidth management would fix that.
I see the SQM QoS page seems to be where I go, but it's much more advanced than I'm used to for this type of thing. Not simple menus for specific IP addresses or devices unfortunately.
Anyone? Thanks

Well, as you may already know, QoS stands for Quality of Service (also SQM Smart Queue Management), when configured properly it can help you route data packets to certain device at a higher priority, therefore increasing your throughput and experience on those devices. The general idea is to define rules in the QOS table for a particular WAN interface (input) mapped to specific IP/ports/services (output) giving it a higher priority than the rest. The specifics can be found in the GoldenOrb firmware's documentation online at (currently they seems be having some bandwidth issue, so try again later):
https://www.ofmodemsandmen.com/documentation.html
Load balancing is related though MWAN3 on GoldenOrb:

Load balancing is related though MWAN3 on OpenWRT:
https://openwrt.org/docs/guide-user/net ... iwan/mwan3
If anyone has more experience and tips on how to use with QoS effectively on OpenWRT routers, feel free to post it.

Thanks, though I can't view those first two links, seems the owner has reached the bandwidth limit. How ironic lol
