I'm trying to attach a Linksys WRT3200acm as the preferred whole house router (2.4ghz 5ghz) . I'm assuming this should be plug and play. However, read somewhere that I needed to change the default IP on the WE826 router? Advice?

You can DMZ everything from the WE826 to the WRT3200ACM and let it handle all the routing and wifi.
