This is a new GoldenOrb WE826-T2 install and it's working flawlessly except for one thing, If I ever reboot the router it will not reconnect to the modem a MC7455. If I power cycle the Router it will reconnect.
If I reboot is there something I should be doing differently?
WE826 reboot will never reconnect to Modem MC7455

Re: WE826 reboot will never reconnect to Modem MC7455
I have the same issue. If I try to use the reboot functionality in the modem firmware it will never reconnect-I have to power cycle the device to get it to reconnect.

Re: WE826 reboot will never reconnect to Modem MC7455
I would try the new (GO2019-11-16) WiFiX version of GoldenOrb.
It fixed several issues and has the latest WiFi drivers as well as a few more tweaks.
To upload the new firmware, I would recommend using the Firmware Recovery Method to make sure it overwrites all of the old filing system.
You will need to reconfigure all of your setting from anew (i.e., do not use a configuration settings backup from current build).
In the alternative from using the Firmware Recovery Method, you should upload the firmware and be CERTAIN to UNCHECK the box to save settings. Then, once the update is complete, repeat the process and upload once again--still making sure to uncheck the box to save settings.
ALWAYS use an Ethernet cable from LAN (yellow) Port on router to PC to upgrade firmware.
If anywhere during the process you experience issues with logging into the router, clear the web browser cache.
This firmware version includes a special ping script which may be enabled/disabled located at SERVICES > The Wireless Haven PING TEST. The script (enabled) will ping every 10 minutes. If the ping fails, it reboots the modem if a COM port exists. If no COM port it found, it reboots the router. It is not necessary to run Connection Monitoring with the ping script.
Support is added for Quectel modems.
