EM12-G FIrmware

Post by gutowscr47 »

I've searched in here and found some downloads, but would like to get the newest firmware for my EM12-G I just ordered from The Wireless Haven. It arrives tomorrow and I want be prepared. I also bought the usb.m.2 adapter from The Wireless Haven to get this done. Is there anything else I need?

Here is what I have downloaded and looking to validate this is correct.

That is the latest one. 01A21

QFlash 4 should be good. and the drivers look good. Plug in the device before installing the drivers. Sometimes Windows is wierd af about the drivers and quectel modems. I have one Win10 PC that REFUSES to let me finish a modem flash, and another Win10 laptop that has zero issues. Odd and frustrating.

Thanks for the quick feedback. Realized I posted this in the wrong area. After this, need to figure if if I put the modem into MBIM mode from computer (AT Commends) before placing in router and how to do that. Any tips? I know the command is AT+QCFG="usbnet",2 but not sure yet where to execute it from (windows when in m.2 device or after installed in router)

Either way is fine, really.

If you do it in the router, make sure you power cycle the router, or run the command

Code: Select all

AT+CFUN=1,1
