Hi! I just got my router and modem today and put it together.
Hostname WiFiX
Model WiFiX-NEXQ6GO
Architecture Qualcomm Atheros QCA9533 ver 2 rev 0
Firmware Version GoldenOrb_2021-02-20
Kernel Version 4.9.211
Using APN: r.ispsn
trying to test it on my currently active sprint sim card that I normally use in my pixel 3xl
Just says connecting and doesn't seem to go anywhere.
I'm pretty new to this, and could use some pointers. Would anyone be able to help me troubleshoot?

Hello.
Did you verify that your phone is using that APN? Typically phones use x.ispsn.
Sprint phone SIMS seem to have gone full IPV6, this requires some simple settings trickery.

You'd have to google how to find the APN on your specific phone, might be in a service mode you have to enable.
If it shows the SIM phone number then the network sees your device, as the phone number comes from the network.
So that's good.
Look in the system log and see if you are getting messages saying 'call failed' or something similar.
Since you have a phone SIM you will likely need to match the device imei to the device registered to the SIM account. We don't support that option here, but it can be done.
The phone SIMs aren't meant to be used in a "hotspot" type device, but people work around it.

makes sense, thanks so much!
I went ahead and bought a visible phone plan, followed the instructions on your other post:

and it works great! Now I just need to learn more about all this to try and optimize for best performance
