RM500Q-GL on Mofi4500

Hello, I’m wanting to replace my mc7455 on the mofi and upgrade it to a RM500-GL. Is this possible? The RM500-GL has 5G with LTE-A, I’m wanting to know how many carrier aggregations can it have?

You can do it, but you'd have to get a pcie to m.2 adapter, get the firmware to work, then be stuck with the 100mbps max throughput of the mofi router. I'd get a wg1608v2(that already has the m.2 interface, plus gigabit throughput), and sell the mofi whole, after you get the 1608+RM500 running.

The RM500Q-AE is the version you need, anyway.

Dr Broadband- I plan to use the goldenorb which I think for the Mofi is WE826-T2. I plan on buying the RM500 on eBay which I think are $380-$500.

So the RM500 has the x7 carrier aggregation with LTE correct? Where I live there’s no 5G yet but there is a near by tower that may end up having 5G in the future. So for right now I want LTE. I was going to go for the EM20 but still thinking about it.

I think the RM500Q only does 3xCA, the RM502Q-AE is the one that can do 7xCA.

I have another Question.
I heard there are H721 Routers and wondering which is the one that doesn’t burn modems. There are some on eBay but I don’t know it there the good or the bad ones.

I have the latest one with the protection circuit, been running it as my primary and it hasn't burned out yet. I got it from The Wireless Haven, will be posting a review once I get a second modem to work in it. I don't know what gen the ones on ebay are.

I found some other photos and it looks like they have the h721 router with a EM20 and looks like the V6 version. You think it’s safe enough to put a EM20 in the router?

Its a 5G ready router, looks like it has plenty of room.
