I'm not familiar with the MOFI firmware. Is there a place to check SMS messages? Tmo sends text messages some times that tell you some info. Even to the tab lines

Need to do more than just pop in a SIM. Can you explain what you did for the setup of the MoFi?

Make sure you have the correct APN is selected (Access Point Name )
For T-Mobile its “T-Mobile (New) (fast.t-mobile.com) (USA)"

See this YouTube video for clues https://youtu.be/fdWDO2an8o4

It’s getting harder to a 4G modem/hotspot onto a carriers network with the iPad SIM trick.

Sadly they are onto that game. I have setup a MoFi 4500 SIM7 with T-Mobile, but used an after market MVNO the SIM/plan that cost a $100 month for 900Gig of data.

I hope you can get the iPad SIM trick to work!! If you do please share the information.
You can play with the TTL setting ……… Good luck! 8-)

TTL (time to live) is a setting that tells the DNS resolver how long to cache a query before requesting a new one.

A mobile virtual network operator (MVNO) is a wireless communications services provider that does not own the wireless network infrastructure over which it provides services to its customers
