NEXP1GO with RM520N-GL - ROOter Bottlenecking Speeds
I am having an issue with my NEXP1GO with a RM520N-GL internally mounted. The issue is that no matter how much bandwidth is available, I cannot get anything more than around 250 Mbps. I'm on T-Mobile Magenta Max phone plan. I have the same plan on my Galaxy S23+. On the S23+ I can pull 900-1100 Mbps ...

Re: ZBT-WG3526 (16M) with EM7565
My experience has been with both 5G-NR SA and NSA connections. SA connections have lower ping that is typically more consistent. Speeds vary depending on the equipment on the tower and backhaul to the tower. As of right now in the US, T-Mobile is the only carrier with fully live 5G-NR SA. As someone ...

EM9191 Band n25 Not Available
So T-Mobile has recently turned on band n25 and n41 all over the place in my area. My Galaxy 23+ connects to n25 and n41 just fine and I can see all the network info when I go into the service mode on the Galaxy 23+. Naturally I wanted to get my EM9191 running on n25 and n41 as well. On the Sierra ...

There is an AT command At!selrat=? you can send to sierra modems and specifically on the em91xx series modems you can choose to do "5G Only" and it will only run 5G SA mode if it's available, which with T-Mobile it usually is especially with n71

It's very odd. I agree though and don't think it's anything to do with the modem and it's something router related with the firmware. I'll give that a go this weekend when I'm home again. My concern is that if the connection monitor reboots the modem and it glitches out with this pin code rejected ...

Hello,
I've recently built a WiFix NEXS2GO w/ an EM9191 in a WiFix V7 m.2 enclosure. It's working well and blowing the previous EM7565 setup outta the water. I have it set to NR 5G SA pulling a single band of n71 on T-Mobile. When it's working it works flawlessly however, after soft reboots or when ...

Unless you need to specifically connect to a certain band to force better performance due to one band giving worse ping times or speed, it would be best to leave the bands alone as in leave it as all bands. Is there any particular reason you're trying to lock bands?

It appears you are throttled (as opposed to deprioritized) after your 10GB (15GB on a multiple user plan), but it fails to explain what "slower speeds" mean but 2G (at 512 Kbps) or 3G at would not be surprising. Be interesting to know.

That is correct. Something to consider is in order to do either of these you will need 2 modems. But if it speed you are looking for you might want to look into the EM7565 (Cat 12). It is able to do 3xCA where as the MC/EM7455 (Cat 6) is only able to do 2xCA. So, you could get far fastest speeds ...
