Re: Connecting cell phone to router?

I will answer my own question. Easier than I thought. Take a USB-A to USB-C cable to any old router running OPEN-WWRT which has a USB port. Update so that you can make USB port interface show. Basically that is it.

Connecting cell phone to router?

It looks like there is a buncha stuff on Amazon that can make this happen but I wasn't sure which item to buy. I'd like the ability to connect my android cell phone with USB-C cable to my router after turning on the phone's hotspot functionality and then use the router to extend the range.

What do ...

Re: MR1100 on ATT Firstnet...very slow compared to my phone

What I am more specifically trying to get at is:

I take my Firstnet phone and get 200mbps download speed. I then connect another phone to the hotspot via wifi. The that phone only gets 40mbps download off of the Firstnet phone. Is that because of those files you were talking about? Seems it would be.

Re: MR1100 on ATT Firstnet...very slow compared to my phone

I tested my phone in a given spot and got 200GB download consistently on band 14. I then turned on the hotspot to my phone and connected the MR1100 to it via wifi a few inches apart. I was only getting like 40mpbs.

Was that basically for the same reasons you mentioned or for some other reason? I ...

MR1100 on ATT Firstnet...very slow compared to my phone

I have an MR1100 -2A1NAS and a Firstnet Cell phone.

I can put my LG phone right next to it and pull about 200mpbs download on Band 14 for the phone and on the same band/tower for both devices and only get 50MBPS for the MR1100. I am getting 5 bars of signal for both. I put them both outside for my ...

MR1100 Nighthawk - Identifying a Cell tower based on Cell ID

Hi,

I can use CellMapper all day long along with other applications to determine what tower my phone is connecting to but when it comes to my MR1100 I am not sure how to convert it to a tower on CellMapper. I am trying to make antenna purchase decisions but I am kind of stumped here. Online ...

Not sure what to do next here

Hi,

I live in an exurban area of the DC metro (even dialup is not available here since it is a private road) and I am running an MR1100-1A1NAS on AT&T Firstnet. It lacks Band 14 but my Firstnet phone has it so I don't care.

I am running it as a modem with my Merlin equipped RT-AC68R Asus router ...

Re: MR1100-1A1NAS AT commands for CA on Bands 12 and 66?

Alright, set it for all bands as per the string below and now I am getting CA for 66 and 12 but it appears slower than just Band 66 alone.

AT!BAND=01,"All Bands",4C00000,20003000285F,2 was what I used.

MR1100-1A1NAS AT commands for CA on Bands 12 and 66?

Hi,

With a great learning curve I used putty to keep the subject router on Band 66 as this yields the best download speeds in my situation with an external antenna pointed in what I believe to be the best possible direction using Network Cell Info Lite.

I can't find the correct information on the ...
