Using the GL-MT6000 with a GL-M2 for cellular connection, but I don't see an options or icons for Signal Tower Lock, Historical Signal Record, or Band Masking. I've never had those options the whole time I've owned this router.
Does anyone know if these options were ever present on this router ...

I don't think it's a bad board. If you put your own modem in the enclosure, most likely it has never been configured to send data through the ethernet port (if that is your end goal, you'll definitely need to send AT commands). But Didneywhorl is correct, it should at least work through the USB port ...

Quectel RM502Q-AE modems recognized as 4G devices
I have the Quectel RM502Q-AE modem in the USB3 enclosure. Connected directly to a Windows 10 machine's USB port, I can get speed tests of roughly 150mbps down / 40mbps up (while my iPhone 13 sitting next to it gets 300+mbps down). Modem has latest firmware and computer has latest USB driver.
