Can confirm this issue on Verizon with the same configuration. Send sms just fails with a timeout.

I would recommend the solder points for the power input barrel plug, this is at 12V at between 3-4A. As long as the fan isn't drawing more than ~150 milliamps, it should not affect the router.

I have the same setup and I'm not experiencing any of these problems you're describing.

The only suggestion I can recommend is make sure you are using the 4A adapter that was included separately, not the 3A adapter included with the router. This should minimize the potential of starved power on the ...

Diamond Tier 5G router package

I'm very happy with my investment. I got the APN programmed and it's working very well, although I'm just a bit curious.

The package came with the USB3 to m.2 modem adapter and the NEXS2GO router. I'm curious if the USB3 adapter allows for better bandwidth rather than using the internal PCIE port ...
