T-mobile 5G on a WG3526 with a USB3.0 to NGFF M.2 Key and quectel rm500q-ae?
Trying to do some research on getting 5G with my T-mobile/wg3526 setup. Is my understanding correct that I can get that adapter and modem and plug that into my wg3526 usb port for 5G? Not sure if there are any other threads or tutorials on this or similar setups. Any help or directions to a thread ...

Re: Does connection monitoring cause periodic reboots?
I tried turning it off and I still got a disconnect, this time instead of auto reconnecting it did nothing. So I guess it’s not connection monitoring. I got a new power supply to see if that was the issue, but now only certain webpages and apps load even though it says it’s connected.

Does connection monitoring cause periodic reboots?
So right now it seems my router is either rebooting or just losing connection once a day, then reconnecting. I thought I read somewhere on this forum that connection monitoring will cause periodic router reboots. Is that correct? If so is there a way to disable that feature of connection monitoring ...

It's lan, tried a few ports. Also a brand new ethernet cable, so I hope it's not bad.

Ethernet slower than WiFi?
I finally managed to improve my setup a little. Two directional antennas mounted on my roof. Speeds have practically doubled. This also gave me an opportunity to connect my main computer via Ethernet. I thought this would be a huge improvement, but it’s actually really slow. WiFi is anywhere between ...

Re: WG3526 w/Goldenorb drops connection frequently
So after about 15 minutes on my phones sim it didn't disconnect. I have put the other sim back in and it still hasn't disconnected which is an improvement from yesterday. But I'm still concerned it could start to happen again. Unless that connection monitoring has something to do with it?

Re: WG3526 w/Goldenorb drops connection frequently
IP is 8.8.8.8 and I'll leave it at 65.
Tried the sim in my phone and got speeds better than my phone typically gets and certainly better than my router has ever had.

I enabled connection monitoring, I can't recall if the TTL is setup that way. How do I check that?

Re: WG3526 w/Goldenorb drops connection frequently
Yeah, I'll give that a shot. Sorry if this is a dumb question, but is there anything else I'll need to do, or can I just swap the sim cards?

Re: WG3526 w/Goldenorb drops connection frequently
I don't think the new firmware is the problem as I was having the issue before I updated. The update was an attempt fix the issue as I didn't realize new firmware had been released.

WG3526 w/Goldenorb drops connection frequently
I have a WG3526 running the latest firmware of Goldenorb and right now I am getting frequent disconnects. In the past month it was happening maybe once a day, which was before I updated the firmware. Yesterday I couldn't hold a connection for longer than 5 minutes. I updated the firmware but that ...

I think I might be having a similar issue. How did you know what band to lock to?
