Go to system and generate a backup file of your settings. You should do this everytime you make changes, unless you want to reprogram again.
Try going to the Modem section of the firmwares menu after you log into the router.

Not syre how that Carrier aggregation link works but it's facts are wrong and it has no AT Commands for the modems. It states a Quectel EM12-G can only do 150 mbp/s. It can do 600 mbp/s.
That article link that was posted is cryptic, right? But it shows Verizon doesn't care about it's customers ...

Visible's contract with Verizon is ending early next year, Verizon won't renew it. I wondering if Verizon is giving Visible customers crappy service so that thier customers switch to Verizon. At&T merged with Verizon to take on T-,mobile.

Hope it wasn't a fluke, 5G has a speed cap of 200mbps down with my carrier, with dual SIMS, that is alot of bandwith. With TTL, that is alot of HD movies and gaming. Stupid they lower the quality to SD, maybe 7mbps to 4mbps, when people pay Netflix and Hulu extra for HD.

Re: MOFI 4500 Timed out
I tried both, after restting the IP adapter back to auto. How long does it take to flash, I have been giving it 15 minutes, since I have not seen it reboot.

This may sound dumb, but how long...
...is a router/modem flash supposed to take? I have mofi4500/WE826-B and have been giving it 15 minutes until starting over. Is this long enough?

OpenWrt did not work either. Anyone have suggestions? BTW, the WE826-B and WE826-T flash files are the same file from OpenWrt.
When not in recovery mode and set with static IP it doesn't recognize the LAN as plugged in.

Re: I have 2 Mofi 4500 SIM 7?
Thanks for yours and the others help. I can't flash any firmware onto it so far. I downloaded Openwrt today, I am waiting for a new LAN USB for my pc, old one isn't recognized any more by windows after upgrade, this one comes with drivers by TP-link. Then I will try to flash OpenWRT, for WE826-B and ...

Just learn the WE826-B is the routers I have. They have green LEDS which my mofi's have. I have been trying to install the wrong firmware from the get go. Don't know why this info was so hard to find. I found it on OpenWrt. webpage:

I have a similar problem, see my post, "I have 2 mofi 4500 SIM 7?".

If you can't get it, try to flash the firmware, go to mofi website and download the firmware for V3. Unplug for 60 seconds, keep holding reset button, plug in. Keep holding reset until the Internet globe light, second light, starts blinking slowly.

Re: I have 2 Mofi 4500 SIM 7?
You say again and again, shouldn't it work first try? Then start Fresh, I assume you mean go through normal setup. I did the WiFix recommended statip IP:
192.168.1.2
255.255.255.0
192.168.1.1
Held reset and plugged in, no interface.
I did mofi suggested IP:

Re: I have 2 Mofi 4500 SIM 7?
So I think I bricked my mofi. I installed the modem into one, and it did not work (as suspected) so I went to add GoldenOrb firmware for ZBT WE826-T. For some reason says the new SSID is WIFIX, and the password does not work, just says obtaining IP and times out. Tried to put the mofi4500 V3 ...

Re: Mofi 4500 new sim 8
Sprint was bought by T mobile. You need to change the APN to SPCS, google it to be sure, or google T mobile, or go on your cell phone, settings, carrier network, APN settings, should say (be sure to be useing the SIM you will be using in your mofi, and make sure it is activated). Do a band search ...

I have 2 mofi 4500 SIm 7 using Vis*b1e, for about 7 months.. I use linux 2 65 for the TTL. I average 10-15 mbps on B66. I can play Xbox all day, COD, Battlefield 4, and Sea of thieves, while running a Roku and TV on the other with 3 amazon dot type devices, and an Amazon Sow. The Mofi's go into a ...

Re: Router to support 3 modems at once
I just learned you can daisy chain mofi devices since it has a built in router. You hook the LAN from the First one to the WAN on the Second, and the LAN from there to The WAN on another, and so on, and so on. Not sure how it runs.

Re: Router to support 3 modems at once
Follow up, sorry I misread the question by reading an answer first. The answer is no. Verizon, AT&T, and Tmobile all use different APN's you could google them but they would have to be manually changed each time you switched out a card. I am guessing your going on this trek with a couple friends ...

Re: Router to support 3 modems at once
I have 2 mofi4500 Sim7 about 7 months ago. I use a TP link VPN WAN/LAN router/spliter. You will need 2 SIM cards to do this, I recommend Vis*b1e. You would need 3. You get a $5 discount per SIM, B66 works best for me. You do not have to set it up for VPN, and it is pass through on default settings ...

I have 2 Mofi 4500 SIM 7?
I just bought 2 Quectel EM12-G CAT 12 modems to install in it, and 8dbi 4G/5G paddle attend as, since the Mofi's came with 3G/4G 5dbi paddles. It is a Wiflyer WE 826 router. 3G is pretty much shutdown now. Should I stick with mofi4500 firmware or switch to goldenOrb?
